How to Shop Online

Shopping online at Rogers' Chocolates is very similar to shopping in our stores.

To begin

1. Click on the Shop Online tab near the top of the screen.
   
   
2. Select a category of chocolates from the links on the middle left of the screen or click on the corresponding images in the centre of the screen.
   
   
3. Each category page has images and links to its products. If you would like more information on a product, click on its image or text link.
   
   
4. Clicking on a product image will take you to the product display page. There you will find detailed information about the product.
   
   

To continue browsing the chocolates

1. You can continue browsing through the categories and products by using the category links on the left-hand side of the screen.
   
   
2. You will also notice that when you enter the display page for a specific product, the rest of the products in that category are displayed at the bottom of the page. Click on the images or text links to continue browsing.
   
   
3. As you shop, you'll see that some pages also have a special "Continue shopping" button. Clicking this button will return you to the Shop Online main page.
   
   

To place a product in your shopping cart

1. Once you have found the product display page for the item you'd like to purchase, you can type in a quantity, select a size, and add that product to your cart by clicking on "Add to Cart." (You will be prompted for payment and shipping information later, when you are ready to checkout.)
   
   
2. Each time you add a product to your cart, you will see a confirmation message on the product display page. This lists the items you have in your cart, along with an estimated price based on ground delivery within Canada.
   
   
3. If you are purchasing our specialty, Victoria Creams, the process for adding this product to the cart has one extra step to allow you to customize your flavours. See FAQ: How do I choose which flavours I want when I am purchasing Victoria Creams?
   
   

To view your shopping cart

1. Near the top right-hand of the Web page, you will see an image of a small shopping cart. Beside this icon, there is a white box that tells you how many items are in your cart.
   
   
2. At any time while you are shopping, you can view the items in your shopping cart by clicking on the shopping cart icon or view cart text link.
   
   

Shopping cart options

1. Increase item quantity - You can increase the quantity of any item in your cart by typing in a new quantity. Once you've changed the quantity, you must click on "Update total" to save this information in your cart.
   
   
2. Remove item - If you change your mind about a particular item, you can remove it from your cart by clicking on the remove button next to that item's total amount.
   
   
3. Continue shopping - Clicking on this button will return you to the Shop Online main page where you can continue to browse through product categories.
   
   
4. Checkout - Once you've finished adding all the items you'd like to purchase to your cart, you start the check out procedure by clicking on one of the "Checkout" buttons.
   
   

How to purchase your shopping cart items

1. At any time, you can proceed to the checkout by clicking on the "Checkout" button located near the top right of the page, inside the white box indicating the number of items in your cart.
   
   
2. If you are viewing your cart page, you can click on the "Checkout" button located below your cart totals.
